What will it cover?
- They will cover psychological and emotional support, blood tests as needed, medication costs as appropriate and the subscription costs that pay for the GenderGP Team to look after people.
Eligibility Criteria
- They will accept applications from everywhere subject to them being able to provide services where you are.
- The fund provide support specifically for trans youth, however this donation equating to £40,000 opens up the support to adults too. Jude fully supports trans youth, but also recognise that the content that Jude creates for a large audience isn’t suitable for young people under 18. And let’s be honest, access to healthcare is a problem for trans people of ALL ages.
- They expect to approve 10 applications to start treatment within 4 weeks. They will then work with applicants to try to get support from their local practitioner to reduce medication and blood test costs.
