The Decarbonization Technology Challenge invites innovators from across the globe to enter for a chance to win up to $1 million in piloting opportunities with ADNOC, to demonstrate greenhouse gas reducing potential.
Ten finalists will be selected to present their technology to a panel of judges in the UAE in December 2023.

Eligibility Criteria
- The Decarbonization Technology Challenge is open to early stage companies from all around the world which are developing decarbonization technologies aligned with the areas of focus.
- The applicant company cannot be fully or majority owned by a larger entity. The Decarbonization Transition Technology Challenge is open to early stage companies only. If your start-up is wholly owned by a larger company or corporate or has that larger company or corporate as a majority shareholder then your start-up would not be eligible to apply.
- Your company must be developing a solution that aligns with the areas of focus, and that could help ADNOC reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- The technology should be pilotable within ADNOC, and not yet globally deployed.
- The technology should be at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 to 8 inclusive.
- Technology must be suitable for UAE climate conditions.
- You must ensure that at least 1-2 representatives of your company will be available in December 2023 to attend and present at the final event in the UAE.
- You must complete the application form in English. All pitches in the final event should also be presented in English.
