Interns / Stagiaires
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has an internship program aimed at increasing opportunities for under-represented groups and increasing diversity in the workforce. Interns will receive a modest monthly stipend. Other details will be shared if you are selected for an interview in mid-January.
We anticipate a start date on March 1st, 2024, and an internship duration of six months.
The internship positions we anticipate recruiting for are the following:
Program Management for Agricultural Livelihoods (in Mokolo)
- Participate in the creation and follow-up of SILC groups.
- Participate in updating modules for vocational training courses.
- Participate in the identification of socio-professional integration kits.
- Participate in training and follow-up of vocational training learners.
Qualifications: bachelor’s degree / Master or agricultural/economic technician diploma
Program Management for Community Mobilization (in Mokolo)
- Monitoring of radio programs on peace promotion
- Support for the revitalization/establishment of village development committees
- Support for the follow-up of listening clubs in communities
- Support for monitoring the implementation of disaster risk reduction plans.
- Monitoring the implementation of LED plans
- Data entry into the matrix
Qualifications: Level bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
Civil Engineering/Environment, Social, Health, and Safety (in Mokolo)

Set up PGES and CBPESs in line with KfW and World Bank requirements.

Carry out ESSS monitoring of field activities based on KfW and World Bank requirements.

Draw up a sustainable management plan for the works.

Practice drafting PGES and CBPESs in accordance with the standards required by the project.

Learn how to carry out ESSS monitoring in the field and fill in the various associated forms.

Learn how to prevent and manage accidents and conflicts that may arise during CfW work.

Learn how to collaborate and involve other stakeholders in the project.
Qualifications: Minimum BAC + 2 (environmental sciences, ecology, environmental law, social sciences, hydrobiology, hydraulics or related sciences); Training or knowledge in first aid would be a plus**.**
Languages: French, Fulfulde is a plus.
