Consultancy on Risk Assessment and Feasibility Study
Malteser International (MI) is the international humanitarian relief agency of the Sovereign Order of Malta. For over 60 years we provide relief and recovery for people during and following conflicts and disasters around the world. Christian values and humanitarian principles form the foundations of our work. In over 30 countries in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, we support people in need – regardless of their religion, origin, or political convictions.
Malteser International is now looking for an expert consultant to conduct a comprehensive risk assessment and feasibility study in Rwanda and Cameroon.
In Rwanda, Malteser International will shortly as part of a regional development program start a project on emergency medical services in close cooperation with the Government of Rwanda and other health stakeholders. In Cameroon, MI will start a humanitarian intervention for refugees from the Central African Republic and host communities.
Thus, this analysis should prepare the ground for starting Malteser International’s activities and setting up program offices in Rwanda and Cameroon. Furthermore, the assessment should guide MI in the envisioned streamlining of risk assessments for every country operation in the future. For this reason, MI will potentially accompany the assessment closely with at least one of its own staff members to learn from the methodology applied and the areas covered.
The details of the requirements for the presentation of offers are detailed in the Terms of Reference (TOR).
