Deadline: 01-Nov-2022

The Hack for Earth is excited to host a global online youth hackathon at COP27 to create real solutions to climate change.

Competing teams from all over the world spend 3 days creating solutions and making an implementation plan.

How it works?
  • Join the hackathon
    • When you are ready to join the hackathon, either as an individual, a new created team or as an already existing team, you have to have the following information ready:
      • Name/Name of the Team
      • Name and personal info of team members (all who will participate in the hackathon)
      • Contact information to all team members
      • Note: You have to be 16-35 years old and be able to communicate and understand English.
  • Apply as a Team
    • Do you already have team members and want to join as one team?!
    • Perfect! You can be as many people as you think it has to be to get the job done. Recommendation for an effective and successful team is 4-6 people in the same group.
  • Find Teammates
    • If you don’t have a team and want to apply as a full team, no worries! You can join their matching tool Meet & Match to find team members to create a team with people from all over the world with the competences you need to be as innovative and successful as possible.
    • This is a fun and also a great way to meet new people with the same ambitions as yourself — creating real solutions to the SDGs.
    • Hackers can join the Meet & Match sessions when applying for the hackathon.
