Are you a student with a passion for digital innovation and a drive to make a difference in health care or agriculture? Bayer has a challenge for you! Join the Bayer Digital Campus Challenge 2023 now and submit your ideas leveraging the power of disruptive technologies to address some of the major challenges facing humanity: A growing and aging world population and the increasing strain on nature’s ecosystems.
Categories
Your project may fit into one of the following categories:
- Data Driven Farming
- How can data-driven farming contribute to avoid a food crisis and support sustainable agriculture?
- Data-driven farming is revolutionizing decision-making in agriculture by using historical results, current field information. It also allows farmers to manage their fields on a smaller scale – from full field level to sub-field precision farming to single plant farming. And it can also support a more sustainable use of the planetary resources.
- Good Digital Health Practice
- How can they provide precision medicine – the holy grail of modern medicine – to patients?
- What are the channels for getting in touch with patients, engaging with them and providing them with services that they are willing to accept, while also improving their health and well-being? What if “the doctor will see you now (for a couple of minutes)” is not enough and is flipped to “the patient will see you now” (as in the book of the same name by Eric Topol)?
- Clinical Data Science
- How can Data Science and Artificial Intelligence transform the way they develop lifesaving drugs for the patients?
- Recent developments of low code AI tools and Data Science methods open the door for Clinical Data Science. Imagine a world in which they can even better collect, analyze, and make sense of clinical data to reduce the time it takes to make pharmaceutical innovations available to patients.
- Digital Immunity
- How can they protect Bayer’s sensitive data and ensure Digital Immunity against cyber threats?
- Do you have what it takes to address one of the most pressing issues currently facing global enterprises? They are seeking groundbreaking solutions for Digital Immunity that are risk-based, data-driven and people-centric to protect the fulfillment of the vision “Health for all, Hunger for none”.
- With businesses relying more and more on IT, the need for strong cybersecurity measures has never been more crucial. And it becomes imperative that they develop robust systems that can prevent and mitigate the damage caused by such threats.
