Deadline: 11-Apr-23
Could you be recognised in 2023 for your outstanding environmental work? Or, do you know a deserving colleague who has recently gone above and beyond to protect or enhance the environment? Then the SocEnv’s prestigious 2023 awards are now open for submissions.
Awards
Designed to recognise those outstanding individuals who have innovated, inspired, and have gone beyond what’s expected in their recent work to protect, preserve, or enhance the environment, there are two prestigious awards up for grabs:
- 2023 Environmental Professional of the Year
- The Society for the Environment is on the search for Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) and Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech) registrants who have gone above and beyond in their recent work.
- Video Nomination Pilot
- SocEnv is committed to being an inclusive organisation. This year they are piloting video nominations as an option to make the application process easier and more accessible to a wider range of people. Video nominations should be a maximum of two minutes per section (application questions are outlined in the section below). The video application can be done with one video per section or all of your answers to the five sections in one video.
- 2023 Registrant Newcomer of the Year
- The latter is specifically available to those who registered as a CEnv, REnvP or REnvTech since January 2022. Hitting the ground running as a newly registered environmental professional is something to be celebrated. They therefore want to commend those who have thrived as a registrant in a short space of time.
