Grant Opportunities: Global Fund for Women Grant Program: Inviting Gender Justice Initiatives and Organizations

Deadline: Ongoing

If you are a nonprofit organization or women’s foundation that advocates for gender justice, you may be interested in applying for a grant from the Global Fund for Women’s Grant Program. The program is currently accepting applications from qualifying initiatives and organizations.

Global Fund for Women envisions a world where movements for gender justice have transformed power and privilege for a few into equity and equality for all. They fund bold, ambitious, and expansive gender justice movements to create meaningful change that will last beyond their lifetimes.

Their primary goal is to get resources to gender justice movements around the globe. Their movement-led approach allows for movements to determine their own needs and allocate funding accordingly through Movement Committees, a type of participatory grantmaking. As funders, their goal is to provide resources that strengthen the agency, participation, and power of movements working directly in their communities to actionably improve gender equality.
