The Opportunity:
The Individual/About You:
As the MERL Coordinator, you will be responsible for the effective implementation of the global MERL policy through its guidelines and tools for the P4G project. Also, you will be the lead support to the P4G project in implementing Cameroon’s Country Strategy for MERL in the project cycle.
By virtue of your role, you will be a member of the Country MERL team, providing support to the Garoua Program Influencing and Implementation Area/Field Office on MERL related activities, and ensure supervision of other Field staff while coaching the implementing Partner Organizations on MERL related activities.
To best meet up with your objectives, the below will be of key value to you:
- A university degree in Social science or its equivalent (demography, measurement, planning, monitoring & evaluation, development studies, project management);
- At least four (0)4 years professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, research & learning;
- Demonstrated experience as a development professional in planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and learning programs;
- Knowledgeable on participatory MERL tools and systems;
- Skills for data base management (design, entry, analysis);
- Strong analytical skills;
- Extensive working experience of SAP and SAP BI Online, PMERL;
- Ability to deliver within tight deadlines;
