VOTRE POSTE ET VOS RESPONSABILITÉS
As Buea Field Coordinator, you will manage 6 staffs directly (Humanitarian Access & Security Manager, Health and Nutrition Programme Manager, Mental Health, Care Practices, Gender and Protection, HR & Finance Program Managers, Base Logistician and MEAL Officer) with a 1,5M euros budget). You will frequently travel to Kumba and works with GAD and ECHO donors.
You role is to coordinate ACF intervention at field level. More precisely your missions will be to :
– Manage overall security and safety on the base: monitor the security environment, meet stakeholders, update local security plan, report and manage security incidents
– Coordinate ACF strategy development and implementation
– Coordinate the implementation of programs at field level: health and nutrition response, new projects, ensure recommendations…
– Manage the team: recruitment, trainings, PSEA policy, capacity building…
– Facilitate good relationships with the coordination team
– Represent ACF with regional authorities, UN and NGOs
– Ensure reporting and communication
VOTRE PROFIL
– You hold a Master’s Degree, ideally in Humanitarian Program Coordination, International Development, International Relations
– You have at least 5 years of field experience in operational management of humanitarian programs in similar role; experience in emergency context required
– You have excellent capacity of strategic humanitarian context analysis and budget construction, monitoring
– You have substantial knowledge of standard logistics procedures and practices
– You developed good knowledge of financial and HR procedures
– You know Action Against Hunger intervention sectors and you have strong communication, networking and representation skills (written, oral, cross cultural)
– You have leadership and management skills in a complex international setting
– You have training, coaching, capacity building experience and skills
– Your English (oral and written) is professional. For security reasons, French speaker applicants would not be considered.
VOS CONDITIONS D’EMPLOI
– Fixed term contract under French legislation: 9 months
– Monthly gross salary from 2597 to 2968EUR upon experience
– Reimbursement of the pension insurance for non-French citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary
– Annual salary increase: 6% increase after and each 12 months of continuous contract
– Monthly per diem and living allowance: 551EUR net, field paid
– Monthly country allowance: 450EUR
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000EUR/year)
– Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
– Medical coverage: ACF covers 100% of the social security, health insurance, and repatriation insurance agreement fees.
– Salary sustainment measures (sickness, paternity, maternity)
– Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year, airfare reimbursement with a ceiling to get to the chosen break destination, and 215 EUR for each RnR period
