The Opportunity

As the Clinical Psychologist, you will be in charge of supporting clients and staff in preventing, assessing, and treating and monitoring mental health concerns. The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for providing evidence based individual and group support sessions, working closely with Social/Case Workers to support, manage and refer cases – including child protection cases, child survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.

In addition, you shall play a major role in the promotion of healthy behavior and improving self-care amongst Plan International Cameroon staff. He/she shall contribute to enabling staff and clients from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe environment. The environment. The Clinical Psychologist will work autonomously in their duties.

The Individual/About You

As the Clinical Psychologist, you should be a holder of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with eligibility for full registration and endorsement in Clinical Psychology or a licensed Psychologist. Also, you should have the ability to communicate in English and Pidgin Languages, demonstrating proficiency in clinical psychological assessment, therapy and interview techniques with adult mental health consumers.
